Vale Geoff McCalman

The Brighton Cricket Club (BCC) was very saddened to hear of the recent passing of Life Member, Geoff McCalman. Geoff first joined the BCC after the merger with St. Peter’s Brighton Beach CC in 1985 and was a junior manager for many seasons, as he was previously with St. Peter’s. Geoff played an integral role in supporting BCC juniors and the success of the current junior program is testament to the foundation work he and others did in the early years.

Geoff was a very keen Carlton FC supporter, who enjoyed a social drink, an avid racing fan and a regular attendee at the annual Warrnambool Racing Carnival.

The BCC extends our sincere condolences to Geoff’s family.
