Role Description

Senior Coach (Playing/Non-Playing)

The Brighton Cricket Club is seeking a Senior Coach (playing or non- playing) for Season 2024/25 and beyond. Working closely with the senior cricket committee, this role will have responsibility for the development and implementation of the senior club’s cricket strategy. Suitable remuneration will be negotiated depending on the agreed role, demonstrated capability, and experience of the preferred candidate.

About Brighton

Brighton Cricket Club, founded in 1842, is the second oldest cricket club in Australia. It has been the home of ten Test cricketers & another 44 First class players. The club has strong community roots and a clear focus on junior development, with 17 junior sides as well as a thriving Blasters program, it is one of the bigger junior programs in the region.

Brighton Currently fields 4 senior teams in the VSDCA, an u15 Craig Shield side and one Sunday team in the CSB Sunday competition. In 23/24, the 16A’s and 14A’s both finished the home and away seasons undefeated while the Craig Shield side finished runners-up, highlighting the quality of talent coming through.
