Coaching Appointment – Michael Nyary

The Brighton CC Committee are thrilled to announce Michael Nyary as our Club Coach for the 2018/19 VSDCA Season.

Arriving at Brighton CC last year after a long Premier Cricket career with both Prahran and then Dandenong, Michael quickly established himself as a respected figure within the club. His broad knowledge of the game developed from playing at a consistently high level, made him the ideal candidate to lead our young and emerging playing group. He will endeavour to improve the skills and cricket acumen of our group, whilst retaining a playing capacity himself. This all kicks off with the upcoming Pre-Season training, with the official schedule to be released in coming weeks.

Michael will be assisted in leadership by Ricky Damiano, who will captain our 1^st XI for another season, his third. We look forward to making further captaincy announcements for the remaining grades closer to the season.

Club members are reminded that our AGM will take place at Brighton Beach Oval, next Monday 30^th July at 7PM.
