Signing of Jason McNally for 17/18 Season

The Brighton Cricket Club is pleased to announce the signing of Jason McNally for the 2017-2018 season. Jason has crossed over from Premier Cricket Club Prahran after a healthy season with both bat and ball. A dynamic middle order bat and skilled bowler, he averaged 28 with the bat and 22 with the ball in his first season of cricket in Melbourne.

Jason played the majority of his cricket over in England before relocating to South Australia a few years ago. During his time over in England he was part of the county setup for a few years. Jason also held captaincy roles at a number of clubs over in the UK showing his clear leadership qualities. He played some quality grade cricket over in SA before deciding to try his wares here in Melbourne.

The club is very excited to have a player of Jason’s experience joining our club for the upcoming season and are confident that with Sam Kindlen as coach and Rick Damiano as captain, we have the leaders to take the club forward in 2017-2018.
