Captain/Coach – Chris Rushworth

The club is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Rushworth as Captain/Coach for the 2015-16 season. Chris comes to us from Durham County Cricket Club where in recent seasons he has formed a lethal pace bowling combination with Mark Wood, Graeme Onions and John Hastings. In 2013 he took 54 wickets in Durham’s Championship win and followed that up with 64 wickets in 2014. He has continued that form this season having already taken 47 wickets to date. In total his first class record stands at 242 wickets at 23.90.

We look forward to welcoming Chris and his family to Brighton on their arrival in late September/early October and are excited by the prospect of a 1st Class player of Chris’s quality and experience leading the club in season 2015-16.
