Brighton CC announce Senior Coach for Season 2017/18

The Brighton Cricket Club are very pleased to announce that Sam Kindlen will be our Head Coach for the 2017/2018 season.

Sam spoke to the playing group at our Presentation night a few weeks ago. He gave us some background information about his values as a person, coaching experience and coaching philosophy.

Sam is a Sport and Exercise Science graduate with accomplishments in both on and off field aspects of elite cricket. He is experienced in leadership, team work and adapting skills through time spent as chairman of Faraday Hall and various positions working with community cricket clubs in both Australia and the UK.

Sam has a Level 3 Performance Coaching Accreditation through the ECB as well as a Level 2 Advanced Coaching Accreditation here in Australia. He is extremely passionate about following a career in cricket coaching and is thrilled to start his career as a Head Coach here at BCC.

Sam has spent his whole senior cricket career at Sub-District rivals Ormond. He is a gutsy top order batsmen and off-spin bowler. Over the last couple of seasons, he has taken up the role of Assistant Coach, whilst still playing in both the first and second elevens.

We are very excited to have Sam on board and are confident he will do a superb job.
