Club Registration Form Juniors and Seniors 2017/18
Welcome to season 2017/18. The Brighton Cricket Club welcomes all existing and new players to register for the coming season.
This season we celebrate the 175th year of the club. There are many events and initiatives planned to celebrate this milestone and we look forward to everyone taking an active involvement.
The club has tried its best to minimise subscriptions in the face of continued cost increases.
Parents, when registering your child please remember to select your child’s shirt size when prompted. All Junior subscriptions include a playing shirt and cap.
We have for the past two seasons fielded a 13yo and under All Girls team. We are hoping to add a 15yo and under All Girls team in the coming season.
As this is our 175th year we have worked with our apparel suppliers to develop a new set of playing attire to commemmorate the occasion. This means that every player will be expected to wear the new attire.
So for Seniors we have included in the Subscriptions a surchage to cover the cost of a One Day Playing Shirt and a Two Day Playing Shirt. All Senior players(Incl. Juniors expecting to play Seniors) will need to contact Stuart Fairley no later than Aug 11 with their shirt size and number on their One Day Playing Shirt.
We are again pleased to advise that we will be fielding a 5th XI Senior team this season that will play their home games on turf at Brighton Beach Oval on Sundays. The 5th XI subscriptions include for a white playing shirt.
Please note that the Early Bird Discount for Senior Subscriptions ends Sept 30 2017. So please get in early.
Social memberships are available at $150 to past players and parents.
We have a major capital project on the horizon with a new pavilion to be built at Brighton Beach Oval in the next 2-3 years. Whilst most of the construction cost will be borne by council , the tenant clubs will need to contribute to the fit out. For that reason we are offering the opportunity for everyone to make a contribution to our Future fund so that we can start to build a reserve. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
