Pre Order Now: A Famous Old Club

Dear BCC Supporter,

We recently advised about the publishing later this year of the BCC History (A Famous Old Club- A History of the Brighton Cricket Club from 1842 to 2017 written by David King) and are now seeking pre-orders for this fascinating read. The result is a 600 page book documenting the Club’s 175 year history complete with photographs, anecdotes, 180 biographies and team and player statistics with the book to go to print at the end of September and be available in early 2018.

We need to seek pre-orders now to:
Confirm our estimates on how many copies we should print
Meet our publishing costs which must be paid before we can finalise the content and pay for the book to be printed
Assist in the application for a grant which would allow us to publish a better quality product
You may recall that in May of last year we advised of an arrangement we had been able to make with the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) and are pleased to report that donations were received from a small group of generous supporters which enabled us to meet our initial expenses and reduce the cost of the book to purchasers. We are very grateful for this support.

The pre-order sale price of $85 will incorporate free delivery in the Melbourne Metropolitan area otherwise an additional mailing cost will apply.
