More recruits sign on at BCC!

Through our growing connections on the Mornington Peninsula, the club is pleased to welcome on board Sean Wilson and Josh Waldron.

Josh Waldron

Last season Josh was the Senior Coach at Baden Powell Cricket Club where he had responsibility for their 6 senior teams. Josh has recently completed his level 2 qualification and is very keen to further his coaching experience. As a player Josh spent two seasons at Frankston-Peninsula Cricket Club where in 2011/12 he won the 3rd XI Premier Player of the year. He has also represented the MPCA at country week level in 2009/10.

Josh will take on a position as assistant coach and will play a key in role in running our pre-season sessions and throughout the season.  The club had a focus on increasing the number of coaches involved in the senior program and are excited to add someone of Josh’s passion and experience.

Sean Wilson

As with Josh, Sean also spent the 2014-15 season with Baden Powell. Prior to that Sean spent six seasons with Frankston-Peninsula where he managed seven 1st XI games and in his final season made two centuries in the 2nd XI in making close to 500 runs for the season. In addition to his batting, Sean is a more than handy pace bowler and we look forward to him impacting with both bat and ball in the coming season.
